our Meat
At Wimpole our rare breed pigs, sheep and
cattle are farmed extensively throughout the estate.
 They
are matured slowly for better flavour whilst maintaining the highest
welfare standards in association with Freedom
Food. Our emphasis on rare breeds assists a national
program to improve the variety of genetic lines in traditional breeds
through the Rare
Breeds Survival Trust.
We are
most proud of our Wimpole whole pig sausage which contains prime cuts of
pork. You can try these award winning sausages at our Home Farm restaurant or pick up some to take
home from the Stable Block Farm shop next to the car parking.
